People, nature, art and books have shaped my life.  I love the experience. I like meeting people face-to-face, hitting the trail, and picking up the paintbrush. All of this has led to my approach to art. I’m communicating with people, encapsulating complex ideas, and illustrating fascinating stories. I collage. I use lots of found papers or I make my own. I use paint, fabric, materials I can work with my hands. I make books. Folding and sewing signatures, covering board, and making it all fit is so very satisfying.

I am most happy outside.  Hiking and canoeing are my favorite ways to get around and see what’s happening in the natural world.  After three amazing years in Savannah, GA, my husband Daniel and I made an exciting move - to the North Country - where the lakes are big and the air is clear.
